Our clinic offers a range of vaccinations.
To prevent infectious diseases and to prevent them from becoming severe, we provide guidance on vaccinations suited to your age, living environment, medical history and other factors.
If you would like a vaccination, please contact us in advance. (Vaccines may be out of stock on some days, so we appreciate your cooperation.)
Influenza vaccine
The vaccine is given with the aim of preventing the onset of influenza and preventing severe illness if you do become infected.
We recommend getting vaccinated before the flu season begins.
Toshinkyo (東振協) subsidy vouchers can be used. Please bring your voucher on the day.
Shingles (herpes zoster) vaccine (Shingrix®)
Shingles develops when the varicella-zoster virus from a past infection is reactivated.
Vaccination is important not only for preventing shingles itself, but also from the standpoint of preventing "postherpetic neuralgia," in which pain persists for a long time after shingles develops.
Other vaccines
Please consult us about vaccines other than those listed above, such as measles, rubella, mumps and COVID-19. All are self-pay.
Depending on the type of vaccine and stock availability, the vaccine may need to be ordered in advance.
If you would like to be vaccinated, please contact our clinic in advance.
Before your vaccination
If you have a fever or feel unwell, we may ask you to postpone your vaccination.
In addition, people who are pregnant, have a history of allergies, have underlying medical conditions, or are receiving treatment that suppresses the immune system may not be able to receive certain vaccines, depending on the type.
If you have any questions about whether you can be vaccinated, please ask the doctor at your consultation.
